The Director General of Governor Willie Obiano Re-election Campaign Committee, Chief Victor Umeh, has said that the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA would put an effective machinery in motion to checkmate electoral malpractices in the November 18 gubernatorial poll in Anambra state.
Chief Umeh stated this during a crucial meeting with political appointees and APGA chieftains at the Government House, Awka.
He expressed optimism that Governor Obiano would win the forthcoming election with a wide margin because of his unprecedented achievements in delivery of democracy dividends and good governance.
The DG of Governor Willie Obiano Re-election Campaign Committee, however, stressed the need for all hands to be on guard to forestall the antics of poll riggers.
Chief Umeh enthused that with the endorsement of the Governor for second tenure by the state branch of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Anambra State Association of Town Union, ASATU, Traditional Rulers Council and the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, among others, a resounding victory of APGA in the coming poll is a foregone conclusion.
