Governor Obiano meets Delta Governor Okowa, FRSC Corps Marshal, Mr Oyeyemi, discusses measures to ease traffic at Bridgehead Onitsha.
Governor Willie Obiano today met with his Delta State Counterpart, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and the Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr Boboye Oyeyemi to discusses issues of safety and traffic decongestion during the yuletide celebrations in both states.
The Two governors and the FRSC boss met behind closed doors at the Delta State Government House, Asaba.
Also among issues discussed during the meeting was how the Delta Government can do palliative works on the bad spots around the Asaba end of the Niger Bridge to reduce the heavy gridlock usually experienced around the area during festive periods.
