ABUJA – President Elect Muhammadu Buhari has been Nationally declared the winner of Nigeria’s 2019 Presidential Election by INEC Chairman Mahmoud Yakubu and will serve for another four years [4 years] when his current tenure expires on May 29, 2019.
Congratulations to Muhammadu Buhari over his win, as he won the Presidential Election with an amazing total of 15,191,847 votes against a total of PDP's 11,262,978 votes with a difference of 3,928,869 votes to beat Atiku Abubakar

President Buhari crossed the 15 million mark in votes scored in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. He polled votes winning in 19 of the states, after the result of Rivers was added, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party won 17 states and Abuja.
On this note, a certificate of return will be presented to President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo by 2pm today 27th February 2019 at the International Conference Center (ICC).
Let's recall that in 2015, Buhari scored 15, 424,921 votes to beat the PDP incumbent Goodluck Jonathan who scored 12,853,162 votes.
It means Abubakar performed worse than Jonathan.
