A Premier League footballer has been arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and rape. Police said the alleged incident occurred at his home last month. Authorities confirmed that officers had executed a warrant at an address and arrested a man on suspicion of rape and false imprisonment on Wednesday, November 11th. The man has not yet been named for legal reasons but police are still investigating the case.
