The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has said the active cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country has risen to 10,126.
This is sequel to the confirmation of 49 new cases in 8 states by the agency, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the country so far to 162,641.
DAILY POST reports that the figures represent the lowest daily cases recorded in the country since the beginning of 2021.
NCDC made the announcement on Monday night while giving updates on daily cases via its official website.
The health agency also confirmed the recovery and discharge of 158 patients, bringing the total number of recoveries to 150,466.
