Jose Mourinho has reacted to the VAR decision that saw Josh Maja’s goal disallowed in Tottenham 1-0 win over hard fighting Fulham on Thursday.
Dele Alli flicked on Son’s low cross against Tosin Adarabioyo and into the Fulham goal within the first 20 minutes.
Jose Mourinho’s side were fortunate in the second half with Josh Maja’s goal around the hour mark ruled out by VAR for a Mario Lemina handball.
Kane was denied by Alfhonse Areola with seven minutes to go as he prodded an Erik Lamela pass goalwards.
Speaking on the handball rule, the Portuguese said, “My view is not important. I don’t make decisions.
“We just have to respect the views of the officials. Sometimes goals for, sometimes goals against. My view is not important.”
Speaking more about the game, the former Chelsea boss said, “important win. We need points and of course three better than one.
“I think we clearly showed from the first minute that we wanted that. First half was good but the second half was harder. When we made the changes we added fresh energy and we had the best chances in the last 10-15 minutes.”
