The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has said the active cases of coronavirus, (COVID-19) across the country, has risen to 9,186
NCDC also reported 129 fresh cases of the virus in 12 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The report shows that the total number of confirmed infections in the country so far has risen to 162,891.
NCDC made the confirmation on Wednesday night via a tweet on its official Twitter handle.
The agency also reported the recovery and discharge of 116 patients.
So far, about 151,648 patients have been successfully treated against the dreaded virus since its outbreak in Nigeria, while no fewer than 2,057 patients have died due to complications.
