Pep Guardiola has hinted that his Manchester City side may win the quadruple this season.
After several attempts, the Spaniard finally guided Manchester City to the semi-finals of the Champions League on Wednesday.
Guardiola’s City side saw off Borussia Dortmund 4-2 on aggregate to book a meeting with Paris Saint-Germain in the last four.
Riyad Mahrez scored from the spot kick to cancel out 17-year-old Jude Bellingham’s opener for the host but Phil Foden put the game beyond the Bundesliga side with a screamer.
“We need three wins to win the Premier League, we are in the semi-finals of the Champions League, we are in semi-finals of the FA Cup and the final of Carabao Cup. It is incredible what we have done,” Guardiola told BT Sport.
City have faced some big disappointments in the Champions League during Guardiola’s time as the club’s manager and the Spaniard was delighted to lead them to a second Champions League semi-final in the club’s history.
“I am incredibly happy for this club, for this chairman and for the fans, everyone,’ added the City manager.
“It is the second time in the semi-finals so it is not history in the club, but we start to build it.
“We were brilliant except the first 10 minutes where they were good. I’m incredibly happy to be in the semi-finals, to be one of the best four teams in Europe, to be against big, strong teams and we will try to be good.”
