Former England stars, Rio Ferdinand and Michael Owen have shared their separate opinions regarding which team will make it to the final of the Champions League.

Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are the four teams in the semi-finals.

Chelsea will play Real Madrid while Manchester City tackle PSG in the next stage.

Real Madrid defeated Liverpool 3-1 on aggregate and will go on to face Thomas Tuchel’s men.

Chelsea had earlier beaten Porto 2-1 on aggregate with Mauricio Pochettino’s knocking out Bayern Munich.

Manchester City joined them in the other semi-final after beating Borussia Dortmund 4-2 on aggregate, fighting back from a goal down to win 2-1 on Wednesday night courtesy of goals from Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden.

Former Liverpool striker, Owen is of the opinion that City and Chelsea will progress to the final.

But Rio Ferdinand, the former Manchester United centre-half, disagrees and thinks neither will advance to the final! “I’ve gone for an all-English final, he thinks the opposite,” Owen told BT Sport.

But Ferdinand said the pair had a ‘bottle of wine’ bet on who would make it and added: “I’m going for Paris Saint-Germain vs Real Madrid.”
