Arsenal legend, Ian Wright has singled out the club’s new signing, Albert Sambi Lokonga for praise over his performance in Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea.
First-half goals from Romelu Lukaku and Reece James secured a maximum three points for Thomas Tuchel’s side at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Arsenal’s defenders struggled to get to grips with Chelsea’s new boy Lukaku throughout the game, while the Gunners rarely troubled Blues defence in attack.
Mike Arteta’s Gunners have lost both of their league games having fallen to a 2-0 defeat to Brentford last week.
“What I saw today, apart from Lokonga, I thought he was very good today, [Nicolas] Pepe did a bit in places, I thought we looked really bereft of anything that we were doing,” he said.
Brentford’s win over Arsenal last Friday was their first game in the English Premier League.
