Former Liverpool star, Mark Lawrenson, has predicted the positions Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool will finish on the Premier League table this season.
Man City won the Premier League title last term ahead of Man United, who finished in second position, Liverpool (third position) and Chelsea (fourth position).
However, Lawrenson believes Man City will finish on top of the Premier League table again this season ahead of Liverpool, Man United and Chelsea.
He gave his prediction on Thursday ahead of the 2021/2022 Premier League campaign, which starts on Friday night with Arsenal taking on Brentford.
When asked to give his prediction for the Premier League top-four this season, Lawrenson simply told BBC Sport, “Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man United.”
Meanwhile, Man City will kick-start their new Premier League campaign against Tottenham this weekend, while Chelsea will tackle Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool will face Norwich City and Man United will clash with Leeds United.
