Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti, has sent his solidarity to Barcelona manager, Ronald Koeman, following his side’s LaLiga El Clasico 2-1 win against the Catalan club over the weekend.
Ancelotti and Koeman were seen exchanging words after the final whistle at Camp Nou.
Koeman is currently enduring a tough time at Barcelona this season due to his side’s poor performances and results.
Recall that two goals from David Alaba and Lucas Vazquez ensured Real Madrid defeated Barcelona as Sergio Ramos’s late goal was not enough.
“It’s a tough job, you have to keep going,” Ancelotti said to Koeman, showing real empathy as the Dutchman responded with a smile.
He added at his post-match press conference, “I’m happy to win El Clasico because it’s the most important match.
“They [Barcelona] also played well.
“It wasn’t an easy game, so winning it makes us very happy.”
