Ihembosi, the very last born with two (2) senior brothers “Okija and Ihiala"; is a town located in Ekwusigo Local Government. It has boundaries with Ozubulu, Okija and Ukpor. Her hospitality and love for humanity is intrinsic.
A land filled with milk and honey, with her ever active and ready to serve President General; HRM. Chief Chukwuebuka Onunkwo (P.G. Men) and Mrs. Pauline Mbanusi (P.G Women). A philanthropist, whose humanitarian and philanthropic services have touched and transformed lives both in Ihembosi and globally. Your Majesty, thy solicitude for 'Ndi Ihembosi' is indeed overwhelming, that even the blind could testify of thy selfless service during these years of your service as the President General of IPA.
It is the motherland of H.R.H. Igwe J.C. Okolie, Very. Rev Fr. Arazu (cssp), Rev. Izunna Moneke, Chief Ezementus Mbonu, Rt. Hon. Afam Obi, Dr. IG Nnubia, Sir. A.E Udeigbo, Miss Queen Nwokoye of Nollywood, Barr. Macko. Iwuchukwu, Hon. Emeka Odidika, and Nigeria International footballer, Ifeanyi Onuigbo.
In the field of academics, Ihembosi is fully represented in the persons of the following erudite scholars; Prof. M.N. Nnoruka (Retired Head, Modern European Languages, University of Ilorin; Prof. A.U.J Kamen (Retired Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Madonna University Okija) and Prof. C.C. Ihueze (Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka). And others too numerous to outline.
Ihembosi is highly represented in all facets and spheres of the society, with the exception of where it concerns social vices. Ihe nke ubosi (light of the day) abhors and detest to extremity political violence and injustices.
December 2015, marked 8years of active service of the outgoing executives of Ihembosi Progress Assembly (IPA). As the IPA general election approaches, friends and well wishers of the outgoing government have not stopped clamoring for their re-election as they represent true transparency and service to humanity.
As the tenure of the indefatigable incumbent IPA Executives led by H.R.M Ebuka Onunkwo has elapsed, there is need for electing new executives who will take-up the mantle. Thus, we through this medium wish to urge all 'Ihembosians' aged 18 both home and abroad to come out en mass come 4th March 2016 and exercise their rights as bonafide indigenes by voting in who in their best interest will lead the blessed people of Ihembosi to the Promised Land.

Hmm, indeed it's going to be a case of who the cap fits. The 'pen' versus the 'jury'.
Electioneering (I.e campaign) is ongoing, permit us to say it's at its peak right now. Some are stepping down for their rivals. That's a good news, though it sounds incredible. With due and maximum respect, we appeal not just to the youths but to all and sundry not to indulge in violent electioneering.
To the ELECTORAL body of Ihembosi chaired by Rev'd Fr. Euphraim Chukwuma, we enjoin you to make judicious use of the powers vested on you by the IPA Constitution. Ensure a free, fair, credible and transparent election come 4th March 2016. We trust thy credibility!
News reaching our source, unequivocally stated that 'men of the pen' and 'learned colleagues' are in both PG Aspirants' Group. This is indeed Historic. Arms folded; fingers crossed, as we watch the drama of who wins and who concedes to defeat.
