1 can Biscuit Dough
¼ cup Butter
1 Small Onion, chopped
3 Carrots, chopped
3 tsp Parsley
¼ tsp Thyme
¼ cup Flour
2 cup Chicken Broth
⅔ cup Cream
3 cup Cooked Chicken, cut into chunks
1 Egg Yolk
1 tsp Water
Directions:
- First, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt butter in a skillet and saute the onion, celery, and carrots for about 10 minutes until the vegetables are soft.
- Add flour, thyme, and parsley and cook for five minutes until the vegetables are coated with flour.
- Whisk in the chicken broth and cream and cook for about 15 minutes until sauce is thick and bubbling.
- Add salt, pepper, and chicken.
- Pour the filling into a baking sheet, and arrange biscuits on top.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk egg yolk with water and brush it on top of the biscuits.
- Bake in oven for about 23 minutes.
- Let cool 10 minutes before serving.
