Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has warned his players not to get carried away yet following their 2-1 win against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Friday night.
Solskjaer’s men moved level on point with Premier League leaders Liverpool, after beating Aston Villa, thanks to two goals from Anthony Martial and Bruno Fernandes.
Bertrand Traore’s strike was not enough to give Aston Villa a point at Old Trafford.
“I am delighted with the three points and very happy with the performance, but there are always things we need to improve on,” Solskjaer was quoted by Man United’s official website as saying after the match.
“It is early in the season, and we shouldn’t be too carried away yet.
“It isn’t a cup final yet, but those two extra points are important.”
Man United will now tackle Burnley in their next Premier League tie on Tuesday at Turf Moor.
