The Police Command in Benue State said Eunice Odoba, the wife of a pastor has been found dead in Otukpo.
The Police said Odoba, 55 years old, might have been stabbed to death.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Catherine Anene told NAN that the corpse was discovered on Sunday.
Anene disclosed that the victim was seen lifeless in her house with a deep cut on her chest.
The spokesperson confirmed that the command had begun investigation into the suspected murder.
The remains of Mrs Eunice have been taken to a mortuary.
