Three people were injured in a fresh attack by unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits, on Ungwan Katsit Community, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Sunday night.
DAILY POST gathered that the bandits stormed the Katsit community around 7:00 – 8:00pm on Sunday night and started shooting sporadically, leaving three persons injured.
An eyewitness, Mr. Bulus Awuta, who narrowly escaped the scene, said the gunmen came through the popular pig market and started shooting sporadically.
“The gunmen numbering about 30 came through the market and started shooting into the air. People ran in different directions, confused. In the end, three people sustained varying degrees of injuries,” he revealed.
The injured people were taken to Sir Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa Memorial Hospital, Kafanchan for treatment.
